Dear Students,

Recently I had an assembly discussion with Sec 1 students on the abuse of Facebook. I learned that many students are now playing games like mouse hunt using Facebook. While Facebook is an effective social network portal, the additional game features have distracted many students from their studies, particularly the immature ones like those in Sec 1. In fact, some students even played such games using their mobile phones during curriculum time.

Hence some students proposed that the school should start regulating the use of Facebook so that students will not be distracted from their studies. We should also tighten our regulation with regard to the use of mobile phones in school so that there is no abuse of such electronic gadgets in the campus.

May I have your suggestions on these issues?
