Official School Email and Live at Edu
Dear C1 students,
Everyone of you is given an official school email account under Live@Edu in the format of
y06[fullname]@student.hc.edu.sg
As there is a small number of you who have identical name, it is advised that you should check for your official email on the Particulars page in ISP.
You may access your Live@Edu services (school email account, skydrive and office live workspace) via the website http://home.live.com
The login ID to Live@Edu is the same as that of your email account.
Please note that default password for initial login is your NRIC.
You will be prompted to change to the password of your choice upon first successful sign-in. You may wish to refer to the login user guide as a reference to help you through the initial login process to Live@Edu.
Any official email correspondence should be done using this Live email account.
Please check this account regularly for important updates and school announcements etc.
You may wish to forward emails in the official email account to your personal account so as to not miss important emails from the school.
Also attached are the user-guides to Skydrive and Office Live Workspace and How to re-direct your emails in school account to personal account which may be useful/relevant to you.

Home-Based Learning (from 26th Feb 6pm to 2nd Mar)
Dear students,
1. Home-based Learning (HBL) will be held on 1st and 2nd March 2010.
2. To minimize the risk of overloading the bandwidth, you will be allowed to access the home-based learning modules/materials from 26th Feb (Fri) from 6pm onwards to 2nd March 2010 (Tues).
3. You are strongly encouraged to follow the schedule (as listed below) to access your HBL modules/materials:

6. If you have forgotten your SMB, official school email and/or ISP login password(s), please go to Tech Hub located at B219 to reset your password(s) by 26th Feb 5pm. If you have any other technical problems, please forward your enquiries to Mr Hwang hwangcl@hci.edu.sg, Mr Sou stevensou@hci.edu.sg, Mr Yam yamhh@hci.edu.sg of IT Support. Alternatively, you can call the IT Hotline 6462-2127 from 7.30am to 2.00pm.

Dear C2 students, The Math Department will be conducting Block Test 1 Revision for Home-Based Learning (HBL) this year. The topics to be covered are APGP and Integration. We hope that these 2 eLearning lessons will help you kick start your revision for Block Test 1! Do note that your tutors will monitor your HBL participation which will be used for attendance taking. Hence, you are required to key in your CT and your full name when you log in. Otherwise, you will be marked as absent from HBL. Dear students,
A few of you have feedback about your problems with wikispaces,
especially about membership and registration.
1. Please note that you do not need membership to access any of the
three mirror sites:

2. You need only the membership to your own group page. All of you
would have received an invitation to your page, and you do not have
to request for any permission to join your own page. If you had not

same email account as the one that is submitted by the physics rep.
3. If all fails, please let me know by today. Provide me with more
specific details as to what your problem is, so that I can help you.
